Summer partying all night long

Qualtrics parties dont disappoint. The summer party caters a lot more towards families, but they are still fun for the rest of us too.

Qualtrics had a ferris wheel, spinny throw up ride (my name for it), tons of bounce houses, live bands throughout the night, a petting zoo, face painting, shaved ice, cotton candy, Fireworks, swag, catering by Goodwood BBQ and so much more.

We ate, hung out with our friends and watched the pretty incredible fireworks show!

A boating injury

This weekend was such a blast again. We went boating with my family! We were out on the lake for 6 hours and my siblings just wanted to keep going on the tube. They wouldn't let up. We all managed to get a little sunburned, but it was worth it because of how much fun we had!

After boating travis and I visited my sister at her work. She works at this amazing little gourmet mexican restaurant, Oteo. If you need a food place in Lindon, check it out. We ate all the queso we could and smashed our faces with Tacos and plantains.

The rest of the weekend we watched movies and tv and just chilled. It was perfect!

The only not so perfect thing that happened was almost getting my finger ripped off. We were going in for the day and didn't have the tube secured on the back and when we went fast the tube fell off and the rope wrapped around my finger. It pulled the top of my nail off and bled a bit, but I was happy it wasn't worse. Its been swollen, but getting better!

Island Park Family Reunion

(Travis thought this guy pulling two canoes was hilarious)

Every year since forever Travis' mom's side of the family have done a big extended family reunion. This year it was in Island Park Idaho, which is right outside West Yellowstone. We could only go for two days, but we packed in the fun! We participated in the annual scramble golf tournament, where travis and I magically got on the same team, I legitimately didn't even try to do that, it was fate. Our team struggled with our putting game, so we didn't come away with the win.

We went on a hike, went boating twice, played a new game we are obsessed with (and might have bought off amazon immediately (Coup), I got a lot of reading done, and we just caught up with family. For me it was a lot of getting to know people in general since this is only my second reunion.

We didn't take very many pictures, but here are some of our hike and the lake we spent a lot of time on. It was a blast!

Missionary Homecomings

My little brother is home!!! Its so much fun to have Jake home from Spain where he served an LDS mission for two years. Jake and Travis met for the first time as brothers, it was the sweetest. Hoping our family just continues to get closer as it gets bigger.

It was so fun to hear about my parents trip around Europe (also brought back a lot of memories from my own trip as well as jealousy). Also fun to hear Jakes stories about his 2 years in Spain.

He gave his homecoming talk yesterday with two of his best friends. The stake center was PACKED. Jake did such a good job, I was impressed. Its amazing what those missions do, he acts so mature these days. WEIRD. Its also nice that he wants to hang out with the family a lot more (before he would just disappear).

Love love love my whole again family!! Here's to lunches, sunday dinners, sibling dates, and vacations with the whole family!
